One thing that has always bothered me about people that come from this town (and I bet it’s like this everywhere, but I enjoy blaming my town for this) is that people don’t expect you to change, ever. If you believed in this at one point in your life, then a few months down the line or even a few years later they expect you to believe in it still and if you don’t, then you’re a fake, a liar, and ultimately, a piece of trash.
